今回は日本特有のK-popのファン事情についてお話しします。日本のK-popファン活動は基本的に韓国のファンのマネをすることが多いです。
In this episode, I would like to talk about the K-pop fan culture in Japan. Japanese K-pop fan activities basically imitate Korean fans.
韓国はアイドル、ファン文化が特有です。公式ファンクラブとは別にアイドルを応援するファンクラブがあってお金と時間をたくさん使って気合が入っています。
Korea has a unique idol and fan culture. Apart from official fan clubs, there are fan clubs that support idols, and they spend a lot of money and time and are very enthusiastic.
そんな韓国でのファン活動をお手本に、日本でも熱いファン活動が行われています。
Following the example of such fan activities in Korea, Japanese fan are also passionate.
K-popが好きな人にとっては、K-popというエンタメ(entertainment)は一つの趣味、生きがいにまでなりうるまで日本で大きくなっています。
For those who love K-pop, K-pop entertainment has grown in Japan to the point where it has become a hobby and a way of life.
K-pop用語｜K-pop words
一つ目は「ペン」。これはファンのことです。韓国語でファンを「ペン」ということから来ています。
The first is the “pen”. This is a fan. It comes from the Korean word “pen” for fan.
二つ目は「推し」。情熱を注いで応援する好きな人物、物などを意味する新しいことばで、K-popアイドルだけではなく芸能人やアニメのキャラクターなどにも使われています。
The second is “Oshi”. This is a new word that means a person or thing that you like and support with passion. It is used not only by K-pop idols but also by celebrities and anime characters.
三つ目は「マンネ」。「マンネ」は韓国語で末っ子という意味で、グループ内での一番年下のメンバーということになります。
The third is “Manne”. It means the youngest child in Korean, which means the youngest member of the group.
ファンからアイドルへ｜K-pop fan to K-pop idol
K-popアイドルで有名な日本人といえばTWICEのモモ、サナ、ミナです。
Famous Japanese among K-pop idols are Momo, Sana, and Mina of TWICE.
3人のようにK-popファンからK-popアイドルになりたい人たちが増えています。
More and more K-pop fans want to become K-pop idols like them.
韓国の芸能事務所に応募したり、オーディション番組に応募する日本人が増えました。
Many Japanese are applying to Korean entertainment agencies and audition programs.
実際にニジューやケプラーはオーディション番組を通して日本人がデビューしました。
NiziU and Kep1er debuted Japanese through audition programs.
