なぜ日本で繊細さんがこんなに話題になったのか。
Why has Sensai-san become such a hot topic in Japan?
一つ目は繊細さんというネーミング(naming)です。HSPという名前より、繊細さんという名前のほうが日本では受け入れられやすかったようです。
The first reason is because it is called “Sensai-san”. It seems that the name “Sensai-san” was more acceptable in Japan than the name “HSP.
二つ目は日本人の国民性はHSPに通じるものが多いことです。真面目、几帳面、恥ずかしがりやなどの日本人に多いこの気質はHSPの気質と似ています。そしてストレスが多い日本社会で、敏感になって疲れている人が多く、共感を呼び繊細さんが話題になったと思います。
Secondly, I believe that the Japanese national character has much in common with HSP. This temperament, which is common among Japanese people, such as seriousness, meticulousness, and shyness, is similar to the temperament of HSP. And many people are sensitive and tired in the stressful Japanese society.

私も自分のことをHSPだと思っています。大勢の人と過ごすことが苦手だったり、人の気持ちがよくわかったりするからです。
I also consider myself an HSP. It’s because I have a hard time spending time with large groups of people and I understand how people feel.

I first learned about HSP in a book and was greatly helped. I even sent a letter to the publisher to thank this book. lol
もし私のような方がいたらHSPを知ることで、楽になる部分が少しでもあれば嬉しいです。HSPを知ることで、自分の気質を把握して上手く対処したり、気質だからしょうがないと、必要以上に自己嫌悪になることもありません。またご自身がそうでなくとも、身近な人でいれば、HSPを知ることでコミュニケーションが取りやすくなることもあると思います。
If you are like me, I would be happy if there is some part of you that can be eased by knowing HSP, so that you can understand your temperament and deal with it well, and not feel self-loathing because you can’t help it because of your temperament. Even if you are not HSP but your family or friends are HSP, knowing HSP may make communication easier.
